These past few weeks of settling into my apartment and trying to get my working visa, etc. has been insane! I’ve had a job lined up for weeks with a French company who flew me to Paris for a week to do some training and a few days ago we decided to part ways. This is mainly due to the fact that the salary wasn’t that great and my insurance would cost far too much and the overall costs of living were far higher than the salary offered. Also, they wanted me to do some strange registration things with my university so it just wasn’t working out. So Iowa girl is back on the search for jobs! Will my degree in logistics be of any use in this port city? I guess we’ll see!
Regardless of all the stress, I love this city!
